*** *** PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION *** *** Vintage 1981 - Tested SONY CFS-88S Stereo Cassette- Corder This is an Awesome & Very Rare Boombox / Ghetto Blaster From Sony Vintage 1981 In Super Aesthetic Condition! *** SEE VIDEO! *** This unit is 3 feet long and weighs over 20lb without batteries! A Real Man's Machine! Case and bright work are in amazing shape.  No static from any of the knobs. All indicator lights work - all switches and control knobs work. Antenna is complete and tight. Battery compartment is clean with no corrosion. Radio and cassette player work.  AM FM SW1 & SW2 Bands. Tuner pulls in stations extremely well - It's A Sony! Detachable speakers that can be extended out via built in cords or left attached to the base unit with no cords getting sound feed via the hinge mounts!  Ever see anything like that???  Also has inputs for aux input and phono input. Power from AC with switchable 110/120 & 220/240 Volt plus DC power input and also powered by 10 D Cell batteries! From a local non smoking estate, as found in "The Guests Bedroom", not cleaned or fiddled with. Not perfect but the best I have seen of this model - see photos *** On/Off button pot needs to be cleaned. To achieve full power out of the unit the on/off button needs to be wiggled & jiggled to get it into the sweet spot - can take a while and won't stay there if bumped.  Video shows when it was in it's sweet spot.  So you or a professional tech will need to get inside the unit and clean out this switch - the mechanics of the switch are fine but the contacts must be dirty - other than that it's good to go - may want to replace the cassette belt at some point but does play fine now. ** This is a vintage stereo component that is over 40 years old Scammers need not apply - I Don't Sell Junk Sold As Is As Described With No Returns Or Price Adjustment - PERIOD!
